Ethical principles and dilemmas in the discourse of healthcare practitioners involved with end-of-life care based on the Advanced Directives Document

Introduction. The Advanced Directives Document (ADD) is an efficient tool to plan for future medical care in case of a potential loss autonomy. Ethical dilemmas arise end-of-life care, including the principle respect autonomy and beneficence involved health leading moral distress practitioners.
 Objective. To identify ethical principles arising from discourse healthcare practitioners with based on ADD. 
 Methodology. Qualitative study hermeneutics approach 253 answers following exploratory question: Are you willing ADD unconscious patient when think that may benefit otherwise? Results. Most acknowledge their as obligation, whilst minority consider it legal right. For large majority practitioners, are recognized under theory liberal individualism. Respect associated non-maleficence value human dignity. quality life concept were presented genuine dilemmas. A reversible clinical condition, request euthanasia, family legibility anticipated directives submitted apparent dilemmas.
